Your gracious host Ron Desjarlais is a Łutsël K’é Dene First Nation Elder raised in the traditional lifestyle of his people, with the East Arm of Great Slave Lake as his back yard. His expertise on the land and water, combined with his understanding of the local wildlife, make his tours exceptional!

Offered throughout the summer season.

You’ll be met in Łutsel K’e by Ron and begin your trip with a scenic boat tour to your traditional campsite on the East Arm of Great Slave Lake.

From there, you’ll be treated to a weekend of exploration and adventure in Thaidene Nëné, topped off with traditional foods and storytelling about the local Dënesųłıné way of life.

On Sunday, the trip will wrap up in Łutsel K’e for a town tour, scenic hike, and shopping for local arts and crafts.
